There I was just hours after delivery, completely exhausted after being up for more than 24 hours. It was my first night as a new mom, and I was desperate to catch a bit of sleep. My son and I were both so tired, but that night neither of us slept. He was perhaps wondering what happened to his comfy womb, and I was wondering why my newborn baby wouldn’t sleep a wink.
Helping babies learn to sleep can feel like the world’s greatest mystery. As a new mom, I read about sleep endlessly, determined to find answers.

First, sleep struggles are normal. You are doing an amazing job! We are all right there with you in the trenches of sleep deprivation.
