“The days are long but the years are short” Ugh isn’t that the truth?!
My best friends wife is having a difficult time as her middle son is preparing to enter the military, Ranger Training.
They did a great job raising great kids. Her husband has preped and guided their son as he confirmed his desire to enter the military.
Four hours at the Recruitment Office has drained Mom physically and mentally. He can’t enlist until June but will be starting the process, next step is a few days away doing some testing.
Do you have any words of encouragement, support and comfort I could relay to her?
My heart breaks seeing her pride and joy in her son but the stress of what the ultimate sacrifice could be having a military career.
Thank you.
